The following are the objectives of this course:
•To shape students’ self-awareness of personality, strengths, values, and aptitudes with intent to cultivate confidence in their capabilities to pursue professional prospects that complement natural inclinations. Then, teach students to draw marketable value from personal assets, maximizing human capital and professional potential.
•To advance students’ professional communication ability through exposure to modern business technology, resume critique, relational networking, business etiquette, and mock interviews ensuring students’ are prepared to pursue current and upcoming professional opportunities.
•To foster leadership and critical thinking skills preparing students to be influential change agents in the workplace.
•To expose scholars to professional development opportunities, engage students in developing a professional network, and challenge students take initiative in pursuing professional opportunities forming an environment for personal development through tangible professional experience.
