The Constitutional Convention of 1787 produced the original constitution of America. At the conclusion of the convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked, what has the convention produced?

His response was, “a republic if you can keep it.”

Today there are many who believe we are losing the republic as it was originally conceived. This course will focus on three questions:

  1. Are we losing our republic
  2. If we are losing our republic, what do “we the people” need to do to reverse the trend and restore any losses incurred to date?
  3. Is the 2016 presidential election, in part, a statement by “we the people” that we are losing our republic?
