Sem: Grant Writing for Non-Profits

This upper level (designed for juniors and seniors) writing course teaches students the skills required for nonprofit and research grant writing and presentation. As an experiential-learning class, students will work with local nonprofit organizations. Students will prepare real grant applications for their nonprofit client. Students will be required to construct a strong grant application portfolio for submission and presentation on behalf of project partner(s) to gain credit for the class. Writing proficiency within this discipline is required for a passing grade in this course.
