Why Honors?

The Honors College grants access to many different resources and programs. Whether that is community service, research, or accelerated master programs, there is something for everyone. My Honors experience started off with Honors Action where I had the chance to not only give back to the community, but form relationships that have followed me all throughout my four years. I was also living in Ridgecrest South, one of the Honors residence halls, and had such a great experience there which led me to pursue serving in the Honors College Assembly. In HCA, I served as the delegate for the Path to MBA which is another program that the Honors College has allowed me to be a part of where I will graduate with my MBA after a total of 5 years, rather than 6. Coming from a small town, Honors has been a part of making my own small group at UA. Because of Honors, I will be graduating in May with two degrees and next spring with a third. My experience in Honors has been great and I would love for others to have the same opportunities I’ve had and be able to say the same.
