Rather than offering specific degrees, the Honors College enhances UA’s undergraduate curriculum. Honors courses are distinguished not by greater difficulty or additional work, but by enhanced experiences that promote heightened reflection and learning. Honors College courses stress the development of critical, analytical, and interpretive skills, which includes several online course options.

Currently, the Honors College has three course options for students seeking to participate in an Honors experience through distance learning: UH 100, UH 200 and UH 205. Those courses emphasize the same core values as our in-person classes while adjusting for the specific needs of virtual learners.
