The University of Alabama Honors College offers seven distinctive honors programs across numerous disciplines.

From the establishment of the Honors College in 2003, it has been home to the University Honors Program, Randall Research Scholars Program (formerly Computer Based Honors) and University Fellows Experience.

The Honors College  is proud to partner with  the College of Arts & Sciences  through the Blount Scholars Program and McCollough Institute for Pre-Medical Scholars; and the Culverhouse College of Business through the STEM Path to the MBA and CREATE Path to the MBA.

The University Honors Program serves to provide an academic experience that fulfills the Honors vision “to inspire students to connect with others as they become Critical and Creative Thinkers, Ethical and Empathetic Citizens, and Collaborative and Inclusive Leaders within their chosen fields of study and beyond.”

The Randall Research Scholars Program is a nationally-recognized undergraduate research program which pairs academically elite students with leading research professors and cutting edge computing technology to complete scholarly research projects in any field of study
The Dr. Robert E. Witt University Fellows Program

The Dr. Robert E. Witt University Fellows Program

 The Dr. Robert E. Witt University Fellows Program prepares able and dedicated students for remarkable lives of leadership and service in their community, state, nation, and world. Upon program completion, Witt Fellows earn a minor in Social Innovation and Leadership.

The McCollough Pre-Medical Institute prepares future medical leaders with unique, interdisciplinary studies in medicine to aid in development of the complex skills involved in the practice of medicine and offers a minor in interdisciplinary medical studies within a living-learning community.

The STEM Path to the MBA allows high-achieving undergraduate students majoring in STEM disciplines to complete coursework to earn an MBA from the Manderson Graduate School of Business in only one calendar year beyond the completion of an undergraduate degree.

The CREATE Path to the MBA offers high-achieving undergraduate students majoring in traditionally creative disciplines the opportunity to complete coursework to earn an MBA from the Manderson Graduate School of Business in one calendar year beyond the completion of an undergraduate degree.
