Students who successfully complete Honors College requirements are eligible to earn a University Honors designation, which appears on the official and unofficial transcript. Students will also be awarded a certificate of completion, which will be mailed to the Diploma Mailing Address indicated on the UA graduation application. In addition to the University Honors designation, Randall Research Scholars and Witt University Fellows will earn a designation for the completion of the Randall Research Scholars Program Minor and the Social Innovation and Leadership Minor. All Honors College students who submit an Honors College graduation application and are on track to complete Honors College graduation requirements are also eligible to receive an Honors College graduation cord.
Graduation Requirements
To earn the University Honors designation upon graduation, Honors College students are required to earn a 3.5 UA GPA and complete the curriculum of an Honors College program or partner program. Students must apply for graduation with the Honors College in addition to their official UA graduation application in order to have Honors designations displayed on their transcript and official graduation documents. The Honors College graduation application is available to students at no additional cost.
The Honors College graduation application will open:
- Spring graduation: mid-January
- Summer graduation: mid-May
- Fall graduation: late-August
