TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Honors Hall, home to The University of Alabama’s Honors College, recently underwent a change to increase the safety and beauty of the area. The Facilities and Grounds Department did an excellent job removing the crepe myrtles from the entrance to the building. “This should make the area so much safer and ‘show off’ the beauty of [Honors Hall] at the same time,” said Duane Lamb, associate vice president of Facilities and Grounds. This improvement makes our community safer, showcases the beauty of the building and provides a perfect view of Denny Chimes.
