David Bolus, a University of Alabama alumnus and a member of the first cohort of the University Fellows Experience (UFE), has recently joined the UA Honors College of the assistant director of UFE. Bolus is a 2011 graduate with a BA in Theatre and earned an MFA in Theatre in 2016. He is a playwright, director, and actor, and his plays and poetry have been published. According to Dr. Jacqueline Morgan, associate dean of the Honors College, “David is extraordinarily intelligent, passionate about the mission of UFE, witty, kind, and talented, and he is perfectly poised to continue to shape the University Fellows Experience into an exemplary program.”

The University Fellows Experience, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this spring, is a community of elite scholars within UA’s Honors College who come from diverse academic disciplines but share a similar passion to be agents of change through commitment to leadership and service. The new cohort of Fellows for Fall 2017 will be announced in March.
