This course is a comparative analysis of the life of Ian Fleming and the James Bond novels, short stories and films. It will examine how Fleming’s real world experiences inspired and influenced his literary work and why the character of James Bond persists in new movies and novels written by other authors in the “style” of Ian Fleming.
