UA Honors College Freshmen Strive to Help Others in Alabama Action

Entering freshmen in The University of Alabama’s Honors College will strive to contribute to the Tuscaloosa community through service Monday, Aug. 12, to Friday, Aug. 16, as part of the Alabama Action, Outdoor Action and Health Action programs.

Honors College Announces 2019/2020 Common Book

The University of Alabama Honors College has selected The Book of Unknown Americans by Cristina Henríquez for its Common Book Experience in 2019/2020. The Honors Common Book is selected by a campus-wide committee composed of faculty and staff. It is read by all new freshmen in the Honors College, and it is discussed by freshmen, faculty, and upperclass mentors, within and outside of the classroom.
